Job summary

Motofix Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to act as a damage repair consultant across our sites. You will work with customers, insurers and production teams to deliver high-quality repairs while maximising commercial opportunities.

You will inspect vehicles, negotiate repair costs, perform QC checks, select repair methods and use Audatex and GT Motive for detailed costings. A minimum of five years' experience and IMI VDA accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in vehicle damage assessment.
• Experience using Audatex, GT Motive and other assessment tools.
• IMI VDA accreditation is required.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to maximise repair opportunities.
• Ability to balance quality, efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle inspection and accurate damage assessment.
• Liaise with engineers and assessors to agree repair costs.
• Conduct final QC inspections to ensure standards.
• Select repair methods tailored to customer needs.
• Explain repairs and discuss upsell opportunities where appropriate.
• Create detailed damage costings using Audatex, GT Motive.
• Aim to maximise repair margins using available systems.
• Assess Pre-Accident Value when required.
• Record accurate repair costs for invoicing.
• Attend daily production meetings to update colleagues.
