Job summary

Pro-Tax, a Top 10 international firm, invites you to join its Indirect Tax team in the South. You will manage a diverse client portfolio across sectors and support Directors and Partners in delivering VAT services, with potential progression toward a Director role.

You’ll help advise on VAT issues, develop client relationships, and contribute to tender proposals while training junior staff to enhance VAT capabilities.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date VAT technical skills across large corporate and owner-managed businesses.
• Ability to handle VAT advisory matters and write reports.
• Comprehensive understanding of key VAT principles.
• Capability to explain complex VAT issues in simple terms to non-VAT experts.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice on VAT issues such as expanding into new jurisdictions, handling HMRC disputes, and VAT treatment of new income streams.
• Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
• Identifying profitable advisory work
• Assisting with tender proposals.
• Training staff on VAT matters.
