Pro-Tax invites applications for a senior VAT professional to join our Indirect Tax team in the South, with a clear path toward partnership. You will manage a portfolio of clients across sectors and support Directors and Partners with VAT services.

The ideal candidate will have up-to-date VAT technical skills, the ability to explain complex issues clearly, and a commercial mindset to identify advisory opportunities and contribute to tender proposals and staff training.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date VAT knowledge across large corporate and owner-managed businesses.
• Ability to handle VAT advisory matters and write reports.
• Understanding of key VAT principles.
• Ability to explain complex VAT issues simply.

Responsibilities

• Providing VAT advice on issues such as expanding into new jurisdictions, handling HMRC disputes, and VAT treatment of new income streams.
• Establishing and maintaining client relationships.
• Identifying profitable advisory work.
• Assisting with tender proposals.
• Training staff on VAT matters.
