Job summary

Pro-Tax is seeking a Manager-level VAT advisory professional to lead client relationships and provide strategic VAT guidance across a diverse portfolio. You will work at the forefront of complex VAT matters, coordinating engagements from planning through to delivery and ensuring high-quality, timely advice.

You will bring CTA/ATII with ACA/ACCA preferred and a strong track record in indirect tax, with a commercial mindset and excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in VAT advisory and indirect tax.
• Experience managing client relationships and delivering advice.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
• Commercial mindset with interest in business development and growth.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building advisory relationships.
• Advise clients on VAT planning opportunities and complex technical queries.
• Lead client engagements from planning through implementation, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and value.
• Collaborate with partners to align VAT advice with clients' commercial goals.
• Contribute to business development through opportunities and proposals.
• Coach and lead junior staff, reviewing VAT returns and complex outputs.
