Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting a consultant in vascular surgery to support the John Radcliffe Hospital and the Thames Valley Vascular Network. You will perform elective and emergency endovascular and open procedures and participate in an on-call framework with cross-site cover.

The role includes teaching medical students and junior doctors, involvement in clinical audit and research, and maintaining professional development per Trust policies.

Qualifikationen

• GMC Registration is essential for practice in the UK.
• Membership or Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons or equivalent required.
• Full and specialist GMC registration or CCT/portfolio pathway (CESR) at interview.
• Specialist training in vascular surgery is required.
• UK trained applicants must have CCT or evidence of equivalence.

Aufgaben

• Deliver full range of elective and emergency endovascular and open vascular surgery.
• Provide cross-cover within the Thames Valley Vascular Network hospitals and voluntary on-call support.
• Contribute to teaching of clinical students and junior doctors and participate in research.
• Adhere to NHS Trust policies and manage clinical duties under the lead consultant and directorate chair.
