Qualifications

• Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner with experience in cardiothoracic surgery.
• Experience in conduit harvesting EVH/ERAH.
• Masters level education or working toward.
• Registered Independent & Supplementary non-medical prescriber or working toward it.

Responsibilities

• Skilled in endoscopic vein harvesting and endoscopic radial artery harvesting.
• Conduct thorough preoperative assessments including conduit harvest site evaluation.
• Provide clear communication and reassurance to patients and carers.
• Arrange and interpret investigations (angiograms, chest X‑rays, ECGs, blood tests).
• Educate patients and carers with accurate information for informed decisions and healthy lifestyles.
• Support operative procedures as first or second assistant and supervise SCP trainees.
