Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the Vascular Service at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield. You will work as a senior clinician, delivering expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of vascular patients.

The role covers clinical practice, leadership, education and research across a busy MDT, contributing to service development and staff training.

Qualifications

• Masters’ degree in Advanced Practice or NHSE Centre for Advancing Practice Advanced Practice Digital Badge.
• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration or HCPC registration.
• Advanced Life Support or Intermediate Life Support qualification.
• Non-Medical Prescribing (if part of proposed role).
• Evidence of CPD and leadership/teaching qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide autonomous expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of vascular patients.
• Lead across clinical practice, leadership, education and research pillars.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and workforce education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Support supervision and training of junior colleagues and learners.
