Job Description:

This role is fully remote.

As part of your role you will be expected to:

Planning & Reporting

• Collaborate with stakeholders, the web team, developers, and leadership to define UX/UI objectives and document design requirements.
• Plan and prioritize the user experience based on various user roles and access levels, ensuring a tailored experience for each audience group.
• Provide regular updates on design progress and flag potential challenges early.

Design & Development

• Design the website and mobile app considering various user experiences and journeys.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for website and mobile app, including role-based access, custom dashboards, and complex data visualizations.
• Ensure an intuitive user experience that integrates Tableau dashboards and presents data effectively.
• Focus on responsive design for accessibility across all devices and platforms.
• Ensure visualizations and content are seamlessly integrated, aligned with the brand, and optimized for engagement and accessibility.
• Design with the potential to transform the website into Android/iOS apps.

Testing & QA

• Conduct comprehensive testing of visualizations, content, and publications across devices.
• Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) with relevant teams to validate usability, performance, and accessibility.
• Track and resolve issues to ensure high quality.

Expected experience:

• Proven UX/UI design experience for web applications and apps in data-centric fields like economics or statistics.
• Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• Knowledge of React JS and React Native.
• Experience in designing for role management and access control.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and their UI integration.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Design, Digital Media, or related fields.
• UX/UI design certifications are a plus.
• Experience designing for role-based data access and customization.
• Certifications in data visualization, content management, or web development are advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in UX/UI development, content deployment, website, and app development with a strong portfolio.
