Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Senior UX Researcher I to lead a team’s understanding of user behaviours and to drive the UX research strategy for a business or product line. The role requires expertise in various research methods and informal mentorship of junior researchers.

The Senior UX Researcher will work with cross-functional partners to ensure user feedback informs development, align research with business goals, and create actionable insights to improve products used by researchers and healthcare

Gathers, evaluates, and has a solid understanding of customer use cases.
Maintains close links with cross-functional partners to feed user feedback into development.
Leads the user-centred research process and mentors juniors.

Responsibilities

Gathers, evaluates, and has a solid understanding of customer use cases.
Maintains close links with cross-functional partners, ensuring user feedback and testing feed into development.
Aligns/coaches the team to ensure customer needs are met.
Shares research findings with the organisation.
Understands competitors and the regulatory environment.
Segments markets and understands needs of sub-segments in greater detail processes.
Leads the User-centred research process, mentoring juniors where needed.
Applies a number of UX Research techniques.
Creates research documentation and analysis outputs.
