Job summary

Trust in SODA is hiring a Senior UX Researcher to lead end-to-end research across digital products, collaborating with Product Designers, Managers and engineers to uncover insights that shape strategy. You'll work early in the product lifecycle, designing studies, conducting interviews and usability tests, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that drive personalised digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong UX Research experience within digital product environments.
• Experience owning research projects from initial brief through to insight and recommendation.
• Excellent qualitative research skills.
• Customer interviews, usability testing, concept testing and moderated/unmoderated research experience.
• Understanding of quantitative research methods.
• Experience combining qualitative insight with behavioural or product data.
• Ability to identify unmet customer needs.
• Strong synthesis and storytelling skills.
• Experience translating research into actionable product recommendations.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and Product Designers.
• Confidence presenting and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge assumptions constructively using evidence.
• Experience working within environments where not everything is already defined.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX research across multiple digital products and initiatives.
• Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research.
• Run customer interviews, usability testing, concept testing and discovery research.
• Understand customer behaviours, motivations, needs and pain points.
• Identify unmet customer needs and potential product opportunities.
• Test new propositions and concepts before significant investment is made.
• Work closely with Product and Design to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
• Help teams define the right research questions and methodologies.
• Synthesize complex research into clear, actionable insights.
• Communicate findings to Product, Design, Engineering and senior leadership.
• Combine research with behavioural and product data to build deeper understanding of customers.
• Help establish research standards, processes and best practice as the Product and Design function grows.
