Job summary

Opus Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a Senior UX/Interaction Designer for a 6-month contract (Inside IR35). The role is based in Newcastle/Manchester with hybrid working.

You will design intuitive, accessible digital services within an Agile, multidisciplinary team and lead end-to-end UX design from discovery through delivery. The ideal candidate has strong UX/Interaction design background, experience with complex digital services, and a proven ability to collaborate with Product, Dev,

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior UX Designer, Interaction Designer, or Product Designer.
• Strong track record designing complex digital services and user experiences.
• Experience in Agile delivery teams.
• Proficiency creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of user experiences across digital products and services.
• Create user journeys, process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs.
• Support usability testing and translate insights into improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Researchers, BAs, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and design sessions to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility and WCAG standards.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and UX best practices.
• Communicate design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support and mentor other designers as needed.
