The Senior UX Designer is responsible for creating and executing user-centred designs that meet business objectives. This includes developing wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. The Senior Designer will collaborate with product owners, managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process and implementation to ensure successful outcomes.

What you'll do

1. Identify competitor strengths and weaknesses through thorough research and analysis of products and user experiences.
2. Gain insights into our customers’ needs and behaviours by designing and executing comprehensive user research.
3. Gather, organise, and present user feedback from usability tests to inform data-driven design improvements.
4. Create and develop sophisticated information hierarchies, sitemaps, and content structures for better information organisation.
5. Visualise and test the layout and functionality of digital interfaces by creating wireframes and interactive prototypes.
6. Conduct user research using UX tools, data, personas, market research, and competitor analysis to shape the user experience.
7. Design seamless digital user journeys with effective user flows and navigation paths.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, product managers, and copywriters, to align UX goals with project objectives.

What you'll bring

1. Proven experience in UX design, architecture, or a related role, demonstrated through a strong portfolio of successful projects, including internal and customer-facing systems.
2. Advanced proficiency in Figma for UX and UI design.
3. Experience in User-Centred Design processes, including planning, usability testing, design reviews, and customer journey mapping. Skilled in structuring information hierarchies, sitemaps, and navigation frameworks.
4. Experience leveraging UX research tools, user data, personas, market research, and competitor analysis to enhance user experiences, especially for external-facing customers.
5. Strong understanding of internal and external development technologies, with awareness of their limitations and implications for UX design.
6. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, confident in leading workshops, facilitating discussions, and working with interdisciplinary teams.
