Job summary

Zebra People | B Corp™ in London is seeking a Contract Senior UX Designer to shape the post-booking experience for a leading travel brand. Hybrid work with 1–2 days in the central London office, initial 6-month engagement likely to extend.

You will design the post-booking journey across web and native apps, tackle disruption scenarios like delays and refunds, run research and usability tests, and collaborate with product, engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end UX experience across web and mobile apps.
• Solid research and usability testing skills.
• Experience within travel or ecommerce would be ideal.
• Confident handling stakeholders and linking your work to business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Design the post-booking journey across web and native apps (pre-travel through to on-the-day).
• Tackle disruption scenarios (delays, cancellations, rebooking, refunds) and design digital recovery paths.
• Get to grips with the operational side so solutions work in the real world, not just on screen.
• Plan and run research and usability testing, then iterate on findings.

A leading travel brand is looking for a senior UX designer to shape what happens after a customer books, with particular focus on what happens when things go wrong.

What you'll be doing

• Designing the post-booking journey across web and native apps, from pre-travel through to on-the-day
• Tackling disruption scenarios (delays, cancellations, rebooking, refunds) and designing how digital helps customers recover from them
• Getting to grips with the operational side so solutions work in the real world, not just on screen
• Planning and running research and usability testing, then iterating on the findings
• Working closely with product, engineering, operations and wider stakeholders

What we're looking for
