Job summary

Hollister Incorporated in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior Urology/Continence Nursing Services Specialist to provide expert support on bladder and bowel care at the National Spinal Injuries Centre, Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Aylesbury.

The post holder will lead nursing teams, contribute to governance and quality initiatives, and drive service development and patient outcomes within a specialist bladder and continence care program.

Qualifications

• Must have valid NMC PIN.
• Proven experience and keen interest within Urology / Continence Care.
• Experience leading nursing teams and managing staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements including NMC standards and CQC regulations.
• Commitment to professional development and service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership, support and supervision to Clinical Nurse Specialists and other nursing colleagues.
• Participate in recruitment, induction, competency assessment and retention of nursing staff.
• Undertake or support appraisal processes, personal development planning and performance review activities.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning and development of future clinical leaders.
• Promote staff wellbeing, psychological safety and an inclusive working culture.
• Ensure staff maintain NMC registration, mandatory training and role-specific competencies.
