Job summary

Hollister Incorporated is seeking an experienced Nursing Services Specialist for Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel within the NSIC at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. You will advise on continence care, catheter management and urodynamics support, with a focus on patient-centred pathways.

The role requires 3+ years nursing experience in urology/continence, a valid NMC PIN and the ability to educate NHS staff and carers across settings.

Qualifications

• Valid NMC pin and registration.
• Proven experience and keen interest within Urology / Continence Care.
• Evidence of recent post-registration training and development (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist support for patients with neurogenic bladder and bowel dysfunction.
• Support patients with spinal cord injury and complex neurological conditions requiring bladder and bowel management.
• Advise on bladder emptying, bowel management programmes, continence strategies and complication prevention.
• Support development of neurogenic bladder and bowel pathways across healthcare settings.
• Deliver education programmes relating to bladder, bowel, continence and catheter management.
• Provide training to NHS staff, community teams, care agencies, patients and carers.
• Identify learning needs and support competency development across teams.
