Sirona care & health – England’s largest provider of Adult’s and Children’s Community Services – is recruiting a Band 7 Urgent Care Practitioner for South Bristol UTC. You will assess, manage and refer urgent injuries and illnesses, with face‑to‑face, telephone and video consultations.
The role includes shift leadership, mentoring of junior colleagues, and contributing to service improvement through audits and governance, with access to NHS benefits and development opportunities.
Sirona Care & Health operates multi-professionally led, place-based urgent care services across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire. South Bristol Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) provides same-day urgent care for patients presenting with minor injuries and minor illnesses. The service is open 8.00am to 8.00pm, seven days a week.
We are currently recruiting for a motivated Band 7 Urgent Care Practitioner (ECP/ENP/Specialist Paramedic/Extended Scope Physiotherapist) to join our team at South Bristol UTC.
In this role, you will undertake the comprehensive assessment, management, and referral of a diverse range of service users presenting with urgent injury and illness. The position also includes supporting junior team members, conducting remote consultations, providing shift leadership, and contributing to service improvement through audit and project work.
