Job summary

NEMS Community Benefit Services is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work across urgent care services, with a focus on face-to-face consultations and safe decision-making for undifferentiated presentations.

You will assess, diagnose, treat, discharge or refer, while supervising and supporting trainee ACPs and nursing staff, and contributing to governance and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent evidence of advanced practice capability.
• Independent non-medical prescribing qualification, or willingness to complete where required.
• Evidence of working at an advanced level of clinical practice.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner across urgent care services with face-to-face consultations.
• Assess, diagnose, treat and discharge or refer patients with undifferentiated presentations.
• Make safe decisions on admission, transfer, referral, follow-up and safety-netting.
• Provide senior clinical presence on shift and supervise junior staff.
• Maintain clear clinical records and participate in governance activities.
