Job summary

Marrons in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Urban Designer to lead masterplanning and urban design at a national scale. You will work within the Masterplanning & Urban Design team in the northern hub, contributing to a growing multidisciplinary practice.

You will help deliver residential and mixed-use schemes across the UK, from initial vision planning to detailed design, while collaborating with clients and colleagues across offices. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Degree in a design related course
• Good working knowledge of current urban design issues in a UK context

Responsibilities

• Assisting on the development of design solutions and strategies for a range of projects encompassing residential strategic land promotion, urban regeneration and major mixed-use sustainable urban extensions across the UK
• Supporting the team on a wide portfolio of projects from feasibility through to detailed design
• Preparing high quality outputs
• Producing creative solutions for clients which are well researched and structured
• Contributing towards seeking, winning, and delivering new work
• Delivering excellent service to clients whilst building strong relationships, managing expectations, and adding value to their business
• Working with the wider team on the delivery of the business strategy and related activities for growth
