Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland seeks a hands-on Team Lead for its UPS and critical power maintenance team. You will manage two engineers, oversee fault diagnosis, testing, and repair of UPS, batteries, switchgear, and control systems, and coordinate with subcontractors to deliver planned and reactive tasks.

You will ensure crew training, maintain site procedures, and keep contract documentation up to date with regular reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a small technical team.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform testing on UPS, batteries and switchgear.
• Experience with installation, commissioning and PPM for critical power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 2 x UPS Engineers and ensure training/experience adequacy.
• Carry out site visits for service and maintenance (PPM) and fault diagnosis.
• Document corrective actions and support subcontractors while conforming to safety procedures.
• Oversee planning, execution and reporting per contract requirements (via PLOW’s).
• Provide first line diagnosis and resolution for critical equipment.
