Job summary

PRS in Slough is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to lead on-site maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical systems in a data centre environment. You'll manage the day-to-day delivery of engineering operations, supervise a shift team of technicians, and drive safety, reliability and efficiency across UPS, generators, HVAC and distribution infrastructure.

Qualifications

Electrical or mechanical qualification required (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
Strong leadership and team supervision experience in a critical environment.
Experience supervising engineers/technicians within an operational setting.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management and permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day engineering operations and maintenance across the facility.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of shift technicians and engineers.
Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across critical infrastructure.
Ensure reliability of UPS systems, generators, chillers, HVAC, pumps and electrical distribution.
Coordinate maintenance schedules and contractor activities.
Monitor performance against service levels and maintenance KPIs.
Support fault diagnosis, investigations and incident management.
