Job summary

Arm is looking for a highly skilled Power Intent / UPF Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team in the United Kingdom. You will define and implement power intent specifications for SoC designs, produce and validate UPF files, and analyze PDN tradeoffs to optimize power and performance.

You will collaborate with multi-functional teams and partners to deliver high-quality results, leveraging UPF expertise and scripting skills to automate tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of power intent concepts, including voltage islands and power domains.
• Proficiency in UPF 2.0/2.1/3.0/3.1 and low power formal verification.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven track record with power intent definition and verification.
• Ability to express new insights clearly.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement power intent specifications for SoC designs.
• Produce and maintain and validate UPF files across hierarchical domains.
• Investigate tradeoffs in Power Domain Network (PDN) and power distribution for power intent.
• Enable partners to achieve the best possible quality of results.
