Job summary

Metavision Studios is seeking a Senior Unity Developer to own live-ops on legacy projects and guide the mobile expansion strategy. You will migrate games to newer Unity versions, manage serverless infrastructure for multiplayer, and collaborate across engineering, design, and IP partners.

The role requires strong LiveOps platform experience, 3+ published games, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup with office days in White City, London.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience with Unity-based projects and LiveOps.
• 3+ published games and 1 live service title required.
• Ability to migrate legacy projects to newer Unity versions.
• Experience with serverless architectures and LiveOps platforms.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Take design and technical ownership of existing titles, maintaining, stabilising and evolving legacy codebases.
• Migrate legacy projects onto later versions of Unity and other platforms.
• Transfer and manage ownership of app stores from partners to new holding groups.
• Lead ongoing LiveOps on live projects and their update lifecycle.
• Maintain and evolve serverless infrastructure and 3rd party data hosting for multiplayer, matchmaking and leaderboards.
• Work with team to translate ideas into spec’d features and updates, reporting to Programming Lead and Design.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across live titles and provide pragmatic solutions.
• Help establish technical standards, tools and best practices for mobile/console development.
