Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust in Dewsbury is seeking a Unit Manager (Band 7) to lead the MY Surgical Hub's multidisciplinary elective surgical service. You will shape service development, lead a 50 WTE team, and drive GIRFT accreditation efforts across General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology and more.

Applicants should have surgical leadership experience, a nursing or ODP degree, and a commitment to safe, patient-centered care, with a 5-day week and Band 7 supervisory duties.

Formación

• Registered nursing degree or equivalent qualification/training.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Extensive clinical experience.
• Proven management/leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the MY Surgical Hub as Band 7 Unit Manager with strategic oversight.
• Demonstrate strong service development and safe, patient-centred care.
• Work a 5-day week and cover Band 7 Surgical Bleep Rota with training.
• Engage in divisional meetings and drive GIRFT accreditation efforts.
