Allianz is seeking a senior insurance data analytics professional to lead pricing and performance monitoring initiatives. You will collaborate with Pricing, Portfolio Monitoring and Actuarial teams to drive profitable underwriting through data-driven decisions and remediation plans.

With 8+ years of experience and a strong command of MS SQL, Radar, and Power BI, you will influence underwriting standards and forecast outcomes while ensuring transparent portfolio changes and provisioning.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of professional experience in insurance data analysis, pricing, or performance monitoring.
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Being Qualified actuary (e.g., FIA, FSA, or equivalent) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA or equivalent) represents an advantage.
• Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL (or equivalent database technologies).
• Experience using insurance performance monitoring tools.
• Proven expertise in data analytics and reporting tools, especially Power BI.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and strong overall MS Office proficiency.
• Experience in insurance pricing tools (e.g. Radar) represents an advantage.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Causes of deterioration including rate inadequacy, rating factor drift, and shifts in risk mix.
• Collaborate with Pricing to ensure tariff and non-tariff books perform as expected; implement targeted adjustments.
• Work with Portfolio Monitoring and Actuarial teams to identify underperforming segments and define remediation plans.
• Ensure underwriting actions align with Allianz standards and AzP Underwriting Guidelines, focusing on technical soundness and commercial impact.
• Support annual planning through margin analysis and forecasting of remedial actions.
• Maintain transparency on portfolio changes for reserve adequacy and provisioning.
• Represent underwriting in cross-functional remediation squads with Product, Distribution, and Claims.
• Communicate findings to senior leadership with data-driven rationale and actionable proposals.
