Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a leading Motor Insurer seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their Motor Fleet team in London. This role involves underwriting a range of medium to complex risks within the Motor Fleet class and supporting team members in developing their technical knowledge. Strong Motor Fleet underwriting experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the underwriting strategy for Motor Fleet, including processing quotes, renewals, adjustments, and cancellations within risk appetite and authority.
• Contribute to developing the underwriting appetite for our products.
• Assist in managing portfolio performance through analysis and recommendations.
• Collaborate with leadership and training teams to identify training needs and provide coaching and development.
• Adhere to the zero-tolerance fraud strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle complaints efficiently and aim for informal resolution when possible.
