Eames Consulting Group, a leading partner to a global insurer, seeks an experienced Construction Liability Underwriter to shape its UK proposition. You will underwrite new and renewal business, assess complex accounts and help launch a Contractors Combined product for SME to mid-market clients.

Eames are partnering with a leading global Insurer looking to appoint an experienced Construction Liability Underwriter to play a key role in developing its UK proposition.

This isn’t simply an opportunity to inherit an existing book. You’ll have genuine input into building the Construction Liability offering, including the development of a Contractors Combined product for the SME to mid-corporate market.

The role will combine hands‑on underwriting with portfolio development, broker engagement and wider strategic input. You’ll underwrite new and renewal business, handle complex accounts, develop intermediary relationships and contribute to the wider underwriting strategy and profitable growth of the portfolio.

We’re looking for someone with strong UK Construction Liability underwriting experience, good technical knowledge and established broker relationships. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership, identifying new business opportunities and acting as a technical point of reference within the team.

The role can be based from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow or Maidstone, offering a good degree of flexibility around location.
