This is a great job for someone with strong communication/people skills to lead our Midlands & South specialist Financial Lines underwriting team under our new structure. Development of our book of business in this region, face to face with our partner brokers and clients, is core to this role and so it will be located in this region.
A bit about the job:
You will join the Regional Financial Lines team in Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS). The successful individual will work closely with the Underwriting Team Leader to support a team of underwriters charged with the growth of our Directors and Officers Liability, Commercial Crime, Cyber, Professional Indemnity, and Pension Trustees Liability books of business. Within this role, you will be responsible for underwriting renewals and new business in line with GCS strategy and within delegated underwriting authority limits. You will be confident in conversing with collaborators both internally and externally to deliver business objectives.
You will liaise with key collaborators from our broker panel, lead technical conversations with clients, and support the professional development of your team members. Strong communication skills and time management will be important. This position suits a motivated and professional individual eager to progress their career within a market-leading insurer.
