Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Senior Fund Reporting Oversight Analyst for its UK Fund Accounting team. The role oversees and signs off client financial accounts and distributions produced elsewhere, ensuring accuracy to SORP and accounting standards.

You'll communicate with Trustees, custodians and auditors, maintain timely KPI delivery, and contribute to process improvements within a centralized reporting function in the UK.

Qualifications

• Senior analyst or senior accountant experience in financial services.
• FCA Training & Competence exams completed (or grandfathered).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure to deadlines.
• Solid numerical and computer literacy including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, review and sign off financial accounts produced by another jurisdiction.
• Sign off XD working papers, distribution rates and Proof of Accounts to SORP/standards.
• Communicate professionally with NT departments, trustees, custodians, auditors and clients.
• Deliver high-quality service and meet KPI deadlines and quality standards.
• Support development of the production jurisdiction and feedback to local managers.
• Assess processes to improve efficiency and reduce risk or cost.
