Qualifications

Proven experience in a digital creative role as a senior member or strong mid-level looking to step up.

The Role

As our Senior UI Designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a huge variety of client briefs, from large, global companies through to smaller, less developed businesses. Liaising with our fantastic client base, you will take briefs and develop big ideas to tell our clients’ stories or solve their challenges. Working in multi-disciplinary teams across the business, you’ll be running your own projects from brief to completion.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead the development and execution of creative concepts and style guides that adhere to client brand standards, ensuring the usability, consistency, relevance, and functionality of the finished product
Present layouts to clients for pitches and the ongoing milestones of project delivery
Actively engage with clients through meetings and calls to help build relationships. Providing advice and guidance on all technical visual related issues
Inspire and motivate clients to be creatively progressive, through the application of fresh and inventive visual work
Ensure delivery of all projects to time
Take a leading role in the digital design team, mentoring junior members in the team and liaising with other departments to take briefs

About You

Proven experience in a digital creative role as a senior member of the team or strong mid looking to take a step up.
A good understanding of user experience (UX) and user-centred design principles (UCD)
Problem solver and able to evaluate a creative brief and develop original and innovative ideas
Strong presentation skills and confidence to speak about the reasons for your design decisions
Understanding of creative processes with a strong awareness for the importance of brand and identity within an organisation
Excellent communication skills, and ability to take briefs, manage expectations and liaise with multiple stakeholders throughout a project
Experience of designing content-heavy websites
Figma is our tool of choice, but otherwise experience of Sketch, XD, the Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping and interaction tools are also useful
Excellent understanding of typography, image manipulation and knowledge of illustration techniques
Passion and attention to detail
Strong conceptual and organizational skills
Solid understanding of responsive design (with examples)
Awareness or experience of working with Digital Design systems
A flexible approach and willingness to adapt ideas to the needs of clients
