Zebra People is recruiting several Senior Software Engineers for an AI‑driven governance, risk and compliance leader. You’ll own complex backend services, design APIs, and ship production systems using Node.js, TypeScript and AWS.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in professional software engineering with production systems.
• Strong back-end with Node.js/TypeScript and API/microservice design.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native development and automated testing.
• Familiar with SQL, Git, Docker-based workflows and modern CI/CD.
• Understanding of AI-assisted engineering tools and responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex backend services and APIs from design to production.
• Contribute to architecture discussions balancing speed, maintainability and security.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Collaborate with product/design to translate requirements into reliable solutions.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing with sound judgment.
• Improve observability, monitoring, incident response, and quality practices.
