Job summary

The Brain Tumour Charity is seeking a Senior Trusts and Foundations Officer to research prospects, develop applications and manage deadlines to sustain a robust portfolio of trust and foundation supporters. You will craft compelling submissions, gather case studies and budgets, and steward relationships to secure multi-year funding.

You will collaborate with the Trusts and Foundations team and wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team, gathering information and ensuring timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experienced trust fundraiser with proven record of writing successful applications, achieving four and five figure sums and multi-year grants.
• Ability to develop detailed and creative proposals and supporting budgets.
• Excellent written communication skills, research skills and a strong eye for detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Identify and research trusts and foundations; build a pipeline of prospects aligned with The Brain Tumour Charity's priorities.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of applications and reports to deadlines and fundraising priorities.
• Submit professional applications and project proposals to trusts; secure multi-year awards where possible.
• Gather information, case studies, budgets and updates from multiple departments to write compelling materials.
• Manage trust relationships via stewardship and donor care to optimise giving potential.
