Job summary

Saffery LLP is seeking an experienced Senior Manager/Director to lead the Trusts team across London and the South, joining the Private Client Group. You will guide trust accounts, tax compliance, and fiduciary services for UK and international trustees, while shaping strategy and client delivery across multiple offices.

The role requires ACA/ACCA with strong tax advisory experience, dual qualifications (CTA/TEP) a plus, and a proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and a demanding portfolio.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification required or equivalent.
• Dual qualification (CTA and/or TEP) advantageous.
• Experience managing a demanding UK/international trusts portfolio and reporting to multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a varied portfolio of UK and international trusts, estates, and high net worth individuals, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables.
• Lead on complex tax advisory for trustees, beneficiaries, and family offices, including trust structuring and operational tax matters.
• Prepare and review trust accounts, including technical reviews for complex cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries and professional bodies; represent the firm at conferences and events.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training on trust taxation and private client updates.
