Job summary

Saffery LLP is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Tax Manager to join the UK Private Client Team. You will oversee UK personal and trust tax compliance and advisory work for private individuals, families and their entities.

The role offers a flexible mix of compliance and advisory work, up to 50/50, with opportunities to lead client relationships, coach juniors and help shape processes. Hybrid working and a supportive, established firm culture are provided.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified with UK private client tax experience.
• Experience delivering both tax compliance and advisory services.
• Strong client management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of private clients' UK personal and trust tax compliance.
• Review self-assessment tax returns and computations for individuals, trustees and partnerships.
• Provide personal tax advice on income tax, CGT and IHT.
• Ensure deadlines are met and liaise with clients to obtain information.
• Coach and develop junior staff within the UK Private Client Team.
