Job summary

Exeter Clinical Trials Unit (ExeCTU) is seeking an experienced Trial Manager to lead and coordinate one or more clinical trial projects. This full-time fixed-term post covers maternity leave until 31 October 2027 and is based in Exeter with hybrid working arrangements.

The role requires extensive experience in managing trials within a GCP framework, overseeing the full lifecycle from start-up to close-out, and ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality delivery for participants and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Extensive recent experience of managing clinical trials or other health research projects in a GCP environment from set-up through to archiving.
• Experience of both regulated and non-regulated trials is desirable.
• Strong ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality clinical research from set-up to close out.
• Ensure scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
• Foster positive experiences for participants, investigators, sponsors and partners.
