Job summary

University of Oxford’s Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit seeks an experienced Clinical Trial Manager for a 1-year fixed contract to oversee a European study in bronchiectasis. The role involves coordinating regulatory approvals across sites, supporting the Senior Trial Manager, and leading day-to-day trial activities with a focus on quality and documentation.

Qualifications

Degree level in a relevant subject plus training or professional qualification in related role(s).
Experience in setup, ongoing monitoring and management of large complex multi-site clinical trials.
Strong communication, both written and oral, across professional boundaries.
Proven ability to plan and progress work with initiative and without constant supervision.
Thorough knowledge of UK regulatory and governance requirements for clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day management of the study and support the Chief Investigator.
Organise team meetings and resolve study conduct queries.
Identify and resolve problems critical to study conduct and plan to mitigate risks.
Contribute to CTU quality management system, SOPs, and procedural documentation.
