Job summary

The Institute of Cancer Research in Sutton, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Programme Manager to join the ICR-CTSU Management Group. You will oversee a defined portfolio and drive initiation of new trials across multi-centre sites, ensuring delivery to high scientific and regulatory standards.

The role requires a first degree in a life science or health-related subject, with deep understanding of UK Clinical Trials Regulations, GCP, data protection and governance.

Qualifications

• First degree or equivalent in life science or health related field.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trials regulations (UK) and GCP.
• Experience with NHS, academia, CRO or pharma trial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of a defined programme within the ICR-CTSU portfolio.
• Develop and initiate new multi-centre trials and phase II/III trials.
• Coordinate and oversee trials teams to ensure timely trial delivery.
