Job summary

Menlo Park Recruitment is listing a Salaried GP (Triage) position in Hastings. You will lead on-the-day demand from a co-located triage hub, with a small admin team supporting decisions in real time. The model is admin-light, focusing on clinical decisions.

The role involves 4–8 sessions per week of triage with additional clinical sessions as needed, seeing about 24 patients daily in 15-minute slots in a mostly face-to-face setting. Flexible days and potential career routes are offered.

Qualifications

• Qualified GP registered with GMC and on UK performers list.
• Experience 3+ years post-CCT and able to manage demand decisively.
• Excellent clinical decision-making in triage and MDT collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide 4–8 triage sessions per week with clinical sessions added as needed.
• Make decisions during triage while hub handles callbacks, referrals and bookings.
• Conduct 24 patients per day in 15-minute clinical sessions, mostly face-to-face.
• Maintain flexible working days; use EMIS Web.
• Opportunity for partnership or GP trainer development for the right candidate.
