Job summary

Vita Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic and committed Salaried GPs to join our growing clinical team across East Sussex practices in Eastbourne, Seaford, Hailsham and Bexhill. We provide NHS primary care to around 55,000 patients with a multidisciplinary team and experienced management.

You will deliver routine consultations, urgent care, and home visits, working within a total triage model and collaborating with nurses, ACPs and pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise.
• Included on the NHS England Performers List.
• MRCGP (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Experience of working within a total triage model.
• Experience using EMIS Web.
• Interest in service development, teaching or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Routine face-to-face and telephone consultations
• Same-day and urgent care clinics
• Clinical triage using our total triage model
• Duty doctor sessions
• Home visits where clinically appropriate
• Reviewing pathology, correspondence and clinical results
• Working closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, ACPs, pharmacists, paramedics and other allied healthcare professionals
• Supporting safe and effective clinical decision-making across the practice
• Participating in clinical meetings and quality improvement activities
