Job Description: Senior Treasury Manager

Hybrid

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Treasury Manager with a strong background in margin and collateral management to support daily treasury operations, margin processing, cash management and funding activities.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of both bilateral and cleared margin processes, alongside experience working with counterparties and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, manage collateral requirements and ensure the smooth running of daily treasury activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage bilateral margin calls, including SIMM validation and initial margin (IM) collateral segregation.
• Process cleared margin calls across OTC clearing and listed trading arrangements.
• Monitor margin requirements and collateral movements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Support the resolution of margin disputes and liaise with counterparties to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Reconciliations & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Fund Accounting and Middle Office teams to investigate valuation discrepancies, position breaks and cash breaks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Support accurate reporting and reconciliation of margin, collateral and cash balances.

Cash Management & Treasury Operations

• Support daily cash management activities, including client cash balances and funding requirements.
• Assist with liquidity monitoring and cash flow management.
• Contribute to cash management and hedging activities.
• Support the efficient execution of day-to-day treasury operations.

Key Requirements

• Ideally relevant experience in treasury, margin management or collateral management.
• Strong understanding of bilateral and cleared margin processes.
• Experience with SIMM validation and initial margin collateral segregation.
• Knowledge of OTC clearing and listed trading margin arrangements.
• Experience in margin dispute resolution and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with TriResolve and Acadia would be advantageous.
• Understanding of cash management, liquidity and hedging activities.
• SQL and Python skills would be a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external counterparties.

Salary & Opportunity

The salary for this position is £100,000–£110,000, depending on experience and suitability.
