Job summary

Wise is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join the Treasury Analytics team in the UK. You will support corporate treasury and banking relationships, building data models and dashboards to drive strategic decisions and operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes deep analytical work, process automation, cross-team collaboration, and mentoring junior analysts to raise the analytics pace and quality across the finance and engineering functions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data analytics.
• Extensive SQL experience to build/maintain data sources and surface insights.
• dbt experience and data modelling for scalable analytics.
• Stakeholder management across analytics, engineering and business.
• Translate business requests into clear analytical problems.
• Convey complex info tailored to audience.
• Deliver high quality work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Help treasury teams make more effective operational and investment decisions through deep-dive analyses and performance measurement.
• Automate relevant operational processes to free up time for strategic initiatives (includes supporting the design of engineering solutions when needed).
• Build and maintain dbt data models to surface key metrics to the teams.
• Build and maintain Lightdash dashboards to support decision making and operational processes.
• Build relationships with teams across the company to gain knowledge for accurate analytics implementations.
• Mentor other team members on best practices in data analysis, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
