Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Business Analysis professional to join the Finance / Treasury COO function in the United Kingdom. You will embed Treasury considerations in the change lifecycle, drive complex cross-functional programs, and strengthen governance with data-driven decision-making.

Lead end-to-end initiatives across Treasury, Finance, IT, and Risk, delivering autonomous, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or Finance / Treasury environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, organize and oversee complex workstreams, and deliver in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with sound judgment.
• Preferred experience in Treasury, Liquidity, Markets, or Finance COO functions.
• Preferred exposure to regulatory, control, or transformation initiatives.
• Preferred familiarity with data governance, controls, or audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive proactive Treasury and Finance engagement in enterprise change across IT, Operations, and Risk.
• Embed Treasury perspectives early, influence decisions, and mitigate downstream impacts while aligning to funding and regulatory requirements.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Treasury/Finance with IT and Risk.
• Structure workstreams and execution plans with clear priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain program tracking, roadmaps, and governance routines.
• Lead structured analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making and provide actionable insights.
• Build and maintain partnerships across Finance, Treasury, Risk, IT, and Operations, and prepare materials for governance forums.
