Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior/Principal Transport Planner to join our South West Transport Planning team in Taunton, Exeter or Bristol. You will deliver transportation projects across the South West, liaising with clients and authorities and mentoring junior team members.

The role offers progression within a multidisciplinary environment with flexible working arrangements and opportunities to contribute to exciting land development and infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in transportation, geography, engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system.
• Experience preparing Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, with junction modelling/analysis skills and use of relevant software.
• Strong numerical ability, with experience managing project budgets and quality.
• Working towards (or keen to achieve) a professional qualification such as TPP.
• Proven track record in project delivery, client management and stakeholder engagement.
