Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our client's expanding team and support all aspects of development planning project work through the entire development cycle, from site selection and due diligence to planning, design, and implementation.

We are looking for a Planner who is passionate about creating sustainable and successful developments. You will work on several exciting, complex transport planning projects with support from our Directors and Transport team, gaining valuable experience across various sectors and project types.

The role

• Preparing Access Strategies, Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Parking Strategies, and inputs to Environmental Impact Assessments.
• Undertaking junction modelling (e.g., Junctions 10 (Arcady, Picady) and LinSig), contributing to S106 negotiations, liaising with local highway authorities, and more.

What you need to succeed

• Degree qualified in a related subject
• Good written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with clients, project teams, highway officers, and community members
• Knowledge of policies and guidance such as NPPF, DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, etc.
• Experience using the TRICS database
• Experience setting up and running junction modelling software, including Junctions 10
