Senior Transport Planner

Location: Central London

Salary: 45k - 55k + package including a yearly bonus dependent on experience

Emtech is working with a civil engineering & transport planning consultancy based in Central London, experiencing growth and taking on a wide range of new projects this year. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join their London team.

In this role within the wider transport planning team across the UK, you will report to the Associate Director and be responsible for managing your own projects and clients. You will project manage schemes and delegate or review work from junior team members. This position is ideal for someone who feels stuck in their current role and is looking for more responsibility and career progression.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing projects effectively, maintaining control over budgets and schedules.
2. Producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Technical Notes, and overseeing report-based work for various development projects.
3. Delegating tasks to Engineers and Technicians, and assisting in training junior team members.
4. Having working knowledge of junction and highway design, DMRB, S278, S38, and AutoCAD would be advantageous.
5. Building client relationships and contributing to fee proposal preparations.
