A market-leading consultancy providing comprehensive development transport planning services across the UK is seeking a Senior Transport Planner specializing in S/38 highways scheme design, drainage, environmental planning, implementation, and operation.

Operating hours

Monday to Friday (Office based)

Salary

£48,000 to £60,000

Main Duties

1. Prepare detailed Transport Assessments and Transport Statements.
2. Develop Travel Plans and coordinate their implementation.
3. Create and present technical data and drawings.
4. Conduct junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
5. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as needed.
6. Attend meetings and public consultation events when required.
7. Manage small to medium-sized projects.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior staff within the team.
9. Take ownership of other traffic/transport-related tasks as assigned by your Team Leader.

Requirements

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in UK Transport Planning standards and processes.
