Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the design and delivery of active travel, public transport, traffic engineering, and urban realm projects from Leeds and across West Yorkshire. You will mentor junior staff, engage with clients, and ensure high-quality outputs across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in concept, preliminary, and detailed design of active travel and traffic schemes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Familiarity with LTN 1/20, TSRGD, Manual for Streets, DMRB, Traffic Signs Manual.

Responsibilities

• Lead design development from concept through detailed design and implementation for active travel, public transport, and traffic schemes.
• Mentor graduates and technicians, and manage technical outputs.
• Coordinate with Clients and stakeholders, manage timelines and budgets, ensuring quality and safety.
