Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a Transition Practice Lead in Surrey to oversee and develop high‑quality transition processes for learners with SEND, EHCPs and other barriers to learning. You will lead transition, assessment and admissions to ensure support starts on day one, coordinating EHCP consultations and statutory processes while developing learner support plans.

• Experience working with SEND learners
• Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND transition
• Line management or team supervision experience
• Experience liaising with Local Authorities, schools and SENCOs
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to work towards a relevant qualification

Responsibilities

• Lead transition, assessment and admissions processes to ensure day-one support
• Coordinate EHCP consultations and statutory processes
• Quality assure transition plans and learner support
• Lead and support a team of Transition Officers
