Job summary

RTX, via OMNIA Training, seeks a Senior Training Systems Engineer in Warminster. You will join a high-impact team delivering complex training systems for Army collective training, reporting to the Systems Solutions Lead, and collaborating with third-party suppliers to ensure interoperable solutions.

The role emphasizes requirements definition, design, integration, and delivery across live, virtual and constructive environments, within a hybrid work setup in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-disciplinary system engineering environments.
• Ability to write system requirements and design documentation.
• Knowledge of V-model lifecycles and ISO 15288 standards.
• Experience creating ICDs and technical specs.
• Proficient with Jira/Confluence for work tracking.
• Ability to translate requirements into system architectures and plans.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe delivery environments.
• Experience with cloud hosting (AWS/Azure) and security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define work packages and technical requirements across services to meet specs.
• Define requirements and produce design documentation.
• Log and quality assure routine operational procedures.
• Act as technical liaison between engineering and supply chain partners.
• Maintain records, lead audits, and contribute to key work packages.
• Lead systems engineering activities including product development and qualification.
• Support training environments and delivery of advanced training concepts.
• Contribute to maintenance, installation and problem resolution.
• Support system operation improvements and EH&S compliance.
