Job Description:

We're seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. The role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Requirements:

Experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, seeking advancement to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with innovative perspectives on Traffic Signal Design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
