Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer

Location: United Kingdom (Remote)

We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a balanced mix of home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including specifications.
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans.
• Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets.
• Apply standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller specifications.
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking.
• Knowledge of LinSig 3.
• Full UK driving license.
